Living like royalty in France? From now on, it’s living like royalty in Curaçao. Renovations Maintenance, both indoors and outdoors, is fully up to date. In recent years, the villa has been gradually renovated. The terrace, originally on multiple levels with the pool positioned one meter higher, was leveled. Wooden beams were replaced with concrete, and the pool underwent a complete makeover. The utility room was upgraded, and the kitchen wall was relocated to create a more practical space. The bar and lounge area were fitted with a canopy. Additionally, the plumbing and electrical systems were renewed, and part of the rocky terrain was transformed into a private beach. Throughout the renovations, careful consideration was given to the sun, shade, and wind exposure. The maintenance of both the villa and the plot is now fully up to date. Entrance Passing through the electric gate, you drive along a paved driveway lined with palm trees. Welcome to the Dutch tropics. To the left is the garage, providing space for two cars and a golf cart. On the opposite side, two additional vehicles can be parked under a shade cloth. The first of many terraces can be found next to the entrance porch. Upon entering the villa, you step into the bright portico where light dominates, thanks to large windows. A distinctive feature that immediately catches the eye is the ceiling’s artistic construction, which extends across the entire upper floor and features a pattern of wooden beams and panels. Every Space Optimally Used A large wall adorned with vibrant jungle wallpaper immediately gives a sense of home. From the foyer, narrow hallways to the left and right lead to the living area and the luxurious open kitchen. Taking the left hallway, you will find a spacious utility room with ample storage and space for a washer and dryer. Further along is a niche with two doors: the left door leads to a guest restroom featuring a hanging toilet, urinal, and sink; behind the right door, a short set of steps takes you to one of the villa’s beautiful en-suite bedrooms. Bathroom En Suite Ultimate relaxation and self-care await in the surprisingly large en-suite bathroom on the main floor. Illuminated by recessed ceiling lights, the bathroom features a freestanding partition wall with double sinks and a sleek vanity unit. Behind the wall are a walk-in toilet area with a hanging toilet and bidet, and a walk-in shower section. Through the windows, the tropical garden outside looks like framed still-life paintings. Prefer a bath? The freestanding bathtub set on a raised platform, complete with a wall-mounted faucet and hand shower, fulfills that wish. A long practical worktop along the wall provides folding space for towels and clothes, which can be stored in additional cabinetry opposite. Master Bedroom Wake up like royalty under a canopy. Exiting the bathroom, you enter the first master bedroom en suite. The boundary with the outdoors here is mostly glass, with wide French doors and shutters. Sleeping in the king-size bed under a canopy, you wake up each morning feeling like a king.
